Our family had an amazing time enjoying the outdoor activities at the local mountains just 20 minutes away from St Clair Hotel Hostel. The city was bustling with excitement and we couldn't have asked for a better location. The staff at the hostel were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable.

My wife says that it would have been great if there were more family-friendly amenities available for younger children.

The location was perfect, with many attractions and amenities within walking distance. The community atmosphere was lovely, with shared spaces for socializing and even morning coffee provided. The classic posters and Halloween decorations added a fun touch to the hostel. Despite some minor inconveniences, like the creeky bunk beds and lack of soundproofing, we truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back. I highly recommend this hostel.

Friendly staff, clear instructions for late check-in, walkable distance to downtown area, 7-11 convenience store nearby, plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, helpful advice on cheap things to do, safe rooms with good locks, comfy and clean beds

    Nothing, all great.

I recently stayed at St. Clair Hotel in Vancouver for a few nights with friends. The location is amazing, right in the downtown core and within walking distance of everything. The staff was incredibly accommodating, even storing our luggage after check-out so we could explore the city before our flight. The 100-year-old building had a unique charm and the nautical decor added character. I appreciated the helpful staff, clean bathrooms, and the shelf full of tourist leaflets. Plus, the shared items leftover table was a necessary bonus for travelers. a great hostel experience.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing stay at a very comfortable hostel in an amazing location. The hostel is just a couple of blocks away from downtown's Pacific Centre and a skytrain station, making it easy to explore downtown and Gastown on foot. The linens were clean and the addition of an electric kettle was a nice touch. Despite some noise from other guests, it didn't hinder my overall experience.

Our stay at St. Clair Hotel was fantastic. The location was amazing, allowing us to easily walk to various attractions and restaurants. We were particularly impressed with the staff, especially the girl with the black hair and glasses who provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Despite the minor inconveniences of a squeaky floor and lack of a proper kitchen, the overall experience was enjoyable. We felt safe and comfortable in the hostel and would definitely recommend it to others.

The staff at this hostel were absolutely gorgeous! Janet and Liana were super friendly and always there to answer my questions. I loved that they provided free tea and coffee in the mornings, free towels, and useful tips on the walls. The lockers were great for keeping my stuff safe, and the artwork on each floor was mind-blowing. The location was excellent, with shops and amenities within walking distance. The staff were excellent, and the showers and toilets were functional. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The value for the money we paid was excellent. The room was spacious and bright, with plenty of space for our belongings. The location was great, within walking distance to the downtown area and with a convenience store just 2 minutes away. The international staff, especially Liane, were friendly and knowledgeable, making our check-in a breeze and providing us with great recommendations for dining and attractions in the area. The hostel had a community feel, with shared spaces for socializing and amenities like morning coffee and books.

The breakfast experience could be improved with a wider selection of options.
